Hiya!
I have some exciting news to share!
After my last Tutorial i was contacted by Prismacolor to demo some of there new pens which came tuesday! woo hoo!!! and do some write ups/tutorials for them! But with my wrist the way it is that will be on hold but will be about very shortly!!! can't wait!!!
Anyways... today's tutorial is just to show you the versatility of these Premier Pencils, and how easy 1 colour can be blended into another and even 2 or 3 colours!
Basically I tend to start with my lightest colour frist and blend that into the paper with OMS (Odourless mineral spirit) with a paper stump, then use my next colour and keep going remembering where my light direction is coming from....
So i have very slowly coloured a few piccys in to show you the results you can achieve by doing this....
Tilda is an example of colouring with three colours and blending them all into one, (her head scarf and arpon)

Tilda's head scarf and middle apron has been coloured with PC912, PC909, PC910. Her dress with PC929, PC925. Broom And hair with PC945 and PC937.
With Images that have lights on them such as Whiff of Joy Willow Prismcolor premier pecils are fab for creating a faded light that comes from its main beem, if you look closly you will see from her laten there is a glimmer of yellow around creating a glow, this is acheived by using a single colour in the centering and using your OMS and paper stump using small strokes outwards....

Willows colors - PC909, PC939, PC945, PC924, PC912 & PC916
Blending two colours is very simple espechially if you have the full set (which i don't but the 24 set is very easy to work with the nearest colour) So in my image of Penny Black's mouse, the daisys are coloured with the darkest colour first (PC918) and then the light colour around the edge of the dark colour (PC916) and with OMS and paper stump blended in middle in small circles bringing the color down into the daisys

Also I've found when you are colouring an animal image as above, to give it a more textured look for fur, if you use small quiff strokes when blending into the cardstock it gives a fluffy kind of look.
PB Colors - (PC937, PC916, PC918, PC908)
Hope this helps with some of you Prismacolor Premier Blending Q's!
Keep coming back regular for more tutorials!
