Mad hatters Tea Party - Alice In Wonderland

Morning all!

Something every crafter knows is inspiration comes from many many places and the Christmas holidays left me feeling inspired in a whole new way! I finally got to see a number of movies that I’d not seen before including the not so new Johnny Depp Alice in Wonderland! Which Is my theme of my project right here! You can also find more about this project in the back issue of Die Cut Crazy January's issue!

And it's also our brand new challenge at Charisma! Inspired by a movie!

How could I combine Alice in Wonderland into a creation? Hmmm… A Mad Hatters Tea party of course!

So with theme set (Party/Birthday) next step was the design!

I seriously didn't think about this before I started and realized only after I’d stuck the tea cup to the front by a hinge not once but three times (remember to decorate inside first!) haha! I designed the Tea cup on my Cameo along with the balloon border and the swirls, It was actually by chance that they look like steam coming from the cup! Totally love how it turned out!

Inside I hid the ends of the swirls with a matching paper matted and used my crop-a-dile to set eyelets to enable to keep the card closed as the hinge of the tea cup handle is quite small!
And there you have a perfect party card for any tea party Mad ones or not! And totally inspired by Alice in wonderland!

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges:

Craft Room Challenge - Ribbon & Lace (Week 2)
